Passed away on Sunday, September 25, 2016 at the Northern Lights Regional Health Center, Fort McMurray, AB, Mrs. Laura Ruby Rideout, age 82 years.

She is predeceased by her husband, Morton; parents, George and Mary Bursey; son-in-law, Solomon Elson; grandson, Kolby; sister, Edna and a brother in infancy.

Left to mourn her passing with fond and loving memories are her six children, Helen, Mildred, Sharon, Harry (Stephanie), Sue (Paul), Dexter (Hazel); step-mother, Eliza Bursey; 12 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; sisters, Mildred (Delmon Reid), Phyllis (Harold Coish) and a large circle of other relatives and friends.

Public visitation took place Friday, September 30,2016 at 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm from the Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home, Lewisporte, NL. The funeral service took place from the Salvation Army Citadel, Lewisporte, NL on October 1, 2016 at 2 pm.

As expressions of sympathy, flowers gratefully accepted or donations in her memory were made to The Salvation Army Red Shield Appeal, The Janeway Foundation or a Charity of ones's Choice would be gratefully accepted.
