Passed away on Saturday, August 15, 2015 at the Lewisporte Health Center, Lewisporte, Mrs. Julia Newman, age 97 years.

She is predeceased by her husband, Ronald; parents, Denis and Elizabeth Roberts; daughters, Marion (Jim), Marilyn; son-in-law, Gerry; brothers, James (Kathleen), John (Mena).
Left to mourn her passing are her sons, Gerald (Cecilia), Anthony (Carol), Dennis (Marie), Angus (Anne), Ron (Joy), Bob (Theresa); daughters, Hilda (Ray), Joan (Austin); 20 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; son-in-law, Junior; sisters, Mary, Alice, Bridget; brothers, Angus (Margaret), Bill (Theresa) and a large circle of other relatives and friends.

Public visitation will take place from St. Anne's Roman Catholic Church, Boyds Cove on Monday morning, August 17th from 11AM-1PM and the Funeral Mass will take place from the church, Monday afternoon, August 17th at 2 PM. Interment will follow from the Roman Catholic Cemetery.

As expressions of sympathy, flowers or donations to St. Anne's Roman Catholic Cemetery Fund would be gratefully accepted.
