Obituary

With heavy hearts and profound sadness, we announce the untimely passing of Juanita Beason (nee Kelly). At the age of 53, Juanita passed peacefully at her home surrounded by her family and closest friends in Norris Arm South, NL on July 18th 2022.

Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are her husband Frank; children, Jason (Darlene), Kayla (Justin), Jonathan (Robyn), Jayden (Brianna); grandchildren, Alexander, Bailey, Caiden, Ashlyn, Isabella, Oliver, Adelyn, Lilah and baby Claire; mother, Geraldine Kelly; sisters, Shelly Burt (Andrew), Katherine Gillingham; nieces Kristie-Ann Kirsch (Alan), Alissa Burt, Isabella Gillingham; nephews Jeremy Burt and John Gillingham; She has a large circle of adoring nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, in-laws, other relatives and good friends.

Predeceased by her father, John Kelly; brother, Adam Kelly; brother in-law, Gerard Gillingham; mother in-law, Ann Beason and father in-law, Francis Beason

Although the loss is great for her family and friends, everyone who met Juantia was touched by her kindness and uplifting sass. She found much joy in helping others, sometimes even in secret. Many times she enlisted her loving husband to assist. She was well-loved for her vibrant personality. There are many fond memories which will be cherished and shared for many years to come.

Her grandchildren were her whole world, and Juanita spoke of them often to everyone and anyone.

Special thank you to her palliative care team at her residence, Cynthia Skiffington, Juanita's bestfriend Tammy Skiffington, Juanita's aunt Lenitte Stanford and her wonderful nurse Heidi Dawe.

Private visitation will take place from the Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home, 262 Main Street, Lewisporte, NL on Wednesday, July 20, 2022 at 7-9 PM.

The Funeral Service will take place from the Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home, 262 Main Street, Lewisporte, NL on Friday, July 22, 2022 at 10:30 AM.

In keeping with her wishes, cremation is to follow.

As expressions for sympathy, flowers or donations to the family will be gratefully accepted.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home, 262 Main Street, Lewisporte, NL.
