Passed peacefully away on Thursday, March 5, 2026 at North Haven Manor, Lewisporte, NL, Mr. John Wilson Primmer, aged 80 years.

He was predeceased by his wife, Sandra; parents, Baxter and Dorothy; brother, David.

Left to mourn his passing with fond and loving memories are his children, Stephen (Cindy), Rodger, Tracey (Andrew Fitzpatrick); grandchildren, Stephanie (Garett), Jessica (Jordan), Sophie; siblings, Marie (Sidney Coffin), Linda (Lloyd Payne), and a large circle of family and friends.

The family would like to thank the staff of North Haven Manor and Emergency Department at the James Paton Memorial Hospital for the love and compassion shown to him.

In Keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place.

A Private Memorial Service for close family and friends will take place from Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home, Lewisporte, NL on Monday, March 9, 2026.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Parkinson's Foundation will be gratefully accepted.
