Passed away on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at the Lewisporte Health Center, Lewisporte, NL, Mr. John Freake, aged 50 years of Lewisporte.

He was predeceased by his father, Ambrose Freake; sister, Karen; nephew, Michael.

Left to mourn his passing with fond and loving memories are his son Joshua(Brenda); mother, Mary; siblings, Kevin (Kitty), Lawrence (Cindy), Brian (Paula), Pauline (Keith), Jacqueline (Trent), Paul, Wanda (Leslie), Tracey (Steve);  granddaughter, Layla and a large circle of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

The public visitation will take place from Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home, Lewisporte, NL, on Sunday, June 24th from 2-4 PM & 7-9 PM. The funeral service will take place from the Anglican Church, Lewisporte, NL on Monday, June 25th at 2 PM. The interment will take place at the Anglican Cemetery, Lewisporte.

As expressions of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to a trust fund for his granddaughter, Layla.
