Joanne Irene (Bresee) Torraville of Rodgers Cove NL passed away peacefully at the James Paton Regional Health Center, Gander NL on March 23rd, 2019 at the age of 78. She was predeceased by her parents, John and Ruth Bresee; sisters, Helen (Stan) Robb, Lenore (Don) Russell; brother-in-law, Mark Cooper and sister-in-law, Susie Torraville.

Survived by the love of her life, devoted husband, Darrell Torraville; daughter, Debbie (Nick) Macina of Orangeville ON, son, Randy Torraville (Cavelle Windsor) of Lumsden NL; sister-in-law, Louise Cooper of Lethbridge AB; grandchildren, Stacey Macina (Shawn Boyd), Johnathan Macina, Nathan Macina, Rebecca Snow, Brittanie Clarke, Travis Torraville; great-grandchildren, Everleigh and Hunter Boyd (all of Ontario) and last but not least her beloved cat, Lisa-Marie. Also, left to mourn her passing are a large circle of other relatives and friends.

In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place.  A celebration of her life will take place at a later date.

Joanne was born in Toronto ON but she came alive when she moved to Newfoundland in July 1979. Few could plank er down like Joanne when the music started.

Thanks to the 3rd floor nursing staff at James Paton for their exceptional care and compassion, not just to Joanne but our entire family.
