Passed peacefully away on Sunday, December 22, 2019 at the James Paton Memorial Hospital in Gander, NL, after a short battle with cancer, Mr. Jim Watkins, aged 70 years.

He was predeceased by his parents, William & Maude; son, Craig; brother, Abel.

Left to mourn his passing with fond and loving memories are his wife, Karen; son, Chris (Sherry); daughter, Lorraine; sister, Julie (Joe) Wicks; grandchildren, Austin, Jermery, Ryan, Deven, Emma, Brooklyn, Raelee, Jordan; great-grandchildren, Arabella, Kaiser, as well as a large circle of family and friends.

The public visitation took place on Thursday, December 26, 2019 from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM from The Salvation Army Church, Comfort Cove-Newstead, NL.

The funeral service took place from The Salvation Army Church, Comfort Cove-Newstead, NL on Friday, December 27, 2019 at 2 PM.

The interment followed at The Salvation Army Cemetery, Comfort Cove-Newstead, NL.

As expressions of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, donations to the family to help aid in funeral expenses will be gratefully accepted.
