Passed away on Thursday, November 9, 2023 at the James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander, NL, Mrs. Jessie Osmond, age 91 years.

She was predeceased by her husband, Edgar; parents, James and Dulcie Lewis; infant son, Alonzo; step-mother, Edna Lewis; siblings, Augustus Lewis, Thomas (Lucy) Lewis, Mildred Lewis, Emma Lewis, Ella (Leslie Vicktoriusz); sister-in-law, Sylvia Lewis; brothers-in-law, Lot Lewis, Sam Lewis, Garry McCuen, Cecil Hoffe and Sidney Paddock.

Left to mourn her passing with fond and loving memories are her sons, Freeman (Nina), Bruce (Janice), Dean ( Sheila), Nathaniel (Evelyn), Arthur (Janette), Cecil (Tara), Eldon (Michelle), Cordell; daughters, Sheila (Clarence), Leona (Carl), Gwen (Woodrow), Trudy (Wallace); 32 grandchildren; 62 great- grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; sisters, Olive Lewis, Levina McCuen (Norm), Lorraine Paddock, Eugene ( Mabel) Lewis; sister-in-law, Hilda Lewis and a large circle of other relatives and friends.

The public visitation will take place from the Pentecostal Church, Birchy Bay, NL on Saturday, November 11, 2023 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM.

The funeral service will take place from the Pentecostal Church, Birchy Bay, NL, on Sunday, November 12, 2023 at 1 PM.  The Interment will follow from the Pentecostal Church Cemetery, Birchy Bay, NL.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the ERDO (Emergency Relief & Development Overseas) will be gratefully accepted.
