Passed away on Sunday, November 17, 2019 at the North Haven Manor, Lewisporte, NL, Mrs. Jessie May Mercer, aged 90 years.

She was predeceased by her husband, Scymour; parents, Stewart and Selina Hart; siblings, John, Hughie (Carrie), Edna Diamond, Roland (Carol); and daughter-in-law, Shirley.

Left to mourn her passing with fond and loving memories are her children, David (Rose), Loretta (Carl Hart), Orville (Lori), Netta (Billy Finn);  grandchildren, Tammy, Michelle, Nicole, Mandy, Darryl, Steven, Andy, Terrilyn, Chantel and Shannon; great-grandchildren, Sara, Madison, Nicholas, Ryley, Ainsley, Leah, Ethan, Nylah, Kalon, EJ, Shileaha; great-great-granddaughter, Callie; sister-in-law, Lucy Hart;  brother-in-law, Hayward Diamond and a large circle of other relatives and friends.

The public visitation took place from Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home, 262 Main Street, Lewisporte, NL on Tuesday, November 19, 2019 from 2-4 PM & 7-9 PM.

The funeral service took place from Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 2, 2019 at 11 AM.

The interment followed at the United Church Cemetery, Port Albert., NL

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the United Church Cemetery Fund, Port Albert were gratefully accepted.
