Passed away on Saturday, February 1, 2020 at the age of 85 years, Jean Coish of Lewisporte, daughter of the late: Aubrey and Muriel Hines.

Jean was predeceased by her loving husband Doug; brothers, Harold Hines and Roy Hines and sister, Florence Power.

She will be greatly missed by her family: son Paul and grandson, Parker, and son Barry (Sarah Mosey) and grandson, Matthew. She will also be lovingly remembered by her brothers, Don (Mickey) Hines, Aubrey (Stella) Hines, sister, Rene Sives, sisters in law, Ivy Abbott and Helen Coish and a large extended circle of family and friends.

All who knew Jean were touched by her kind soul and love of laughter, but will also remember her for her unwavering courage and strength.

A special thank you to Dr. Wayne Collins, home care workers, Gayle and Heather, and the staff of North Haven Manor Palliative Care for their exemplary care and kindness, especially over the past week.

The public visitation will take place at Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home, 262 Main Street, Lewisporte, NL on Sunday, February 2, 2020 from 7-9 pm and Monday, February 3, 2020 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm.

The funeral service will take place from St. Matthew's United Church, Lewisporte, NL on Tuesday, February 4, 2020 at 2pm. The interment to follow from St. Matthew's United Church Cemetery, Lewisporte, NL.
