It is with great sadness that the family of the late James Eric Freake announces his passing at the Lewisporte Health Centre, Lewisporte, NL aged 57 years.

James leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife, Daphne; children, Philip (Crystal-Lee), Karen (Jeff) Bath, & Pamela (Andy) Budden; grandchildren, Skylar, Emma, Jalen, Caelum, Haley, & Benjamin; brothers, Leslie (Linda), Melvin (Georgia), Lloyd (Phyllis); sisters, Sandra (Harvey) Burry, Ruth (Heber) Freake, Madeline (Fred) Tulk, Hazel Rideout; sister-in-law, Levina Freake; as well as large number of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

James is predeceased by his parents, William & Eunice Freake; brother, David; brother-in-law, Arthur Rideout.


The public visitation took place Sunday, March 6, 2016 at 7-9 pm, Monday, March 7, 2016 at 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm from the Beacon Pentecostal Church, Birchy Bay, NL.

The funeral service took place Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at 2 pm at 2 pm from the Beacon Pentecostal Church with Pastor Darryl Lidstone officiating.

The interment followed at the Pentecostal Cemetery, Birchy Bay, NL.

As expressions of sympathy donations in his memory may be made to the Family.
