Passed away on Sunday, February 27, 2022 at the Lakeside Home, Gander, NL, Mrs. Irene Hillier, age 86 years.

She was predeceased by her husband, Lester;  parents, Enos and Louise Wheaton; son, Lloyd;  daughter, Betty; granddaughter, Melinda; brothers, Garfield, Cecil, Harvey and William; sisters, Mary, Elsie, Rhoda; brother-in-law, Jordan Wheaton.

Left to mourn her passing with fond and loving memories are her children, Pansy (Bernard Fancey), Philip (Marina), Terry (Heather), Sharon (Terrilynn), Peggy (Ron Freake), & Jamie (Colleen); grandchildren, Lisa (Jamie), Corey (Angie), Conrad (Lorraine), Tina (Herb), Michelle (Josh), Terrilynn (Chad), Jordan (Carly), Justin, Samantha, Jonathan (Ashley), Morgan, Tyler, Brooke, Janice (Paul), Sherry (Dwight), Shelley (Read), & Trudy (Les); great-grandchildren, Kristen, Alexander, Abby, Gabriel, Raymond, Maddie, Jordan, Jaylin, Alaina, Caitlyn, Summer, Jackson, Olivia, Oliver, Lawson, Theodore, Bradley, Alaina, Rihanna, Ian, & Miranda; brother, Otto (Margaret); sister, Annie Wheaton.

Visitation for family only will take place from Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home, 262 Main Street, Lewisporte on Tuesday, March 1, 2022 from 2-4 PM.  A private funeral service for family only will take place from Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at 1:30 PM.  NLVaxPass will be required upon entry.

Interment will follow at the United Church Cemetery, Main Point.  As expressions of sympathy, flowers or donations to the Parkinson's Society NL would be gratefully accepted.
