Herbert John Brown's Obituary
Passed peacefully away on Thursday,October 1,2015 at the Dr. Hugh Twomey Center, Botwood, Mr. Herbert John Brown, age 85 years, of Norris Arm.
He was predeceased by his wife, Edna; parents, Theophilus and Alfreda Brown; siblings, Zachariah, Theodore, Minnie and Jean.
Left to mourn his passing are his children, Bruce (Annette), Geraldine Peckford (Henry Parsons), Ron (Georgina), Derek (Venus); grandchildren, Neil, Kenny, David, Christopher, Jason, Jonathan, John, Kathie; nine great-grandchildren and a large circle of other relatives & friends.
Public visitation took place from the Riverside United Church, Norris Arm, NL on Friday, October 2nd from 7-9 PM and Saturday, October 3rd from 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
The funeral service took place from the church on Sunday, October 4th at 2 PM. Interment followed from the United Church Cemetery, Norris Arm, NL.
As expressions of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, donations to the Riverside United Cemetery Fund was gratefully accepted.
Funeral arrangements entrusted to Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home, 262 Main Street, Lewisporte, NL.
