Passed away on Wednesday, August 26, 2026 at the North Haven Manor, Lewisporte, NL, Mrs. Helen (Nellie) Loretta Dwyer, age 88 years.

She was predeceased by her husband, John; parents, Alonzo and Catherine; baby boy; great-granddaughter, Isabella and her 11 siblings.

Left to mourn her passing with fond and loving memories are her children, Elsie (Ed), Phyllis (Norm), Jane (Harry), Glen, Madeline (Shawn), Denise (Gilles) and John; grandchildren, Dwayne, Angie, Shannon, Jeanette, Falien, Kolby, Nathan, Jennifer, Justin, Jamie, Jessica, Julia, Corey and Kyla; 17 great-grandchildren; sister, Ruby Pieroway of St. George's and a large circle of other relatives and friends.

Public visitation will take place the Roman Catholic Church, Norris Arm on Thursday, August 27th from 2-4 & 6-8 PM. The Funeral Service will take place from the Church on Friday, August 28th at 2 PM.  Interment will follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery.

As expressions of sympathy, flowers or donations to the Roman Catholic Church, Norris Arm will be gratefully accepted.

The Family would like to thank the staff of North Haven Manor for their amazing care and dedication to their mom/ grandmother. Your thoughtfulness didn't go unnoticed.
