Passed away on Thursday, December 4, 2014 at the North Haven Manor, Lewisporte, Mr. Hedley Janes, aged 91 years.

He was predeceased by his wife, Sarah; parents, Mark and Mary; daughter, Betty; siblings, Frank, Edward, Edna, Ray, Grace, Stephen; sisters-in-law, Queenie and Hazel.

Left to mourn his passing with fond and loving memories are his children, Carl (Melinda), Keith (Shirley), Katherine (John White), Bob (Valerie Woolfrey), Bonnie Cooper; grandchildren, Sherry (Phillip), Christopher (Michelle), Anita (Bradley), Valerie (Bill), Matthew (Megan), Dennis, Kimberley, Sherri (Quinton), Jeffery (Cynthia), Kelsey, Vanessa, Trevor, Allison; great-grandchildren, Zoe, Jillian, Hailey, Nicholas, Keegan, Alexis, Nathan, Hanna, Emerson, Laurilee, Lorne, Kayla, Chad, Dylan; siblings, Mark, Lloyd, Madeline (Walt Brushett); sisters-in-law, Dinah Janes, Emma Janes and a large circle of other relatives and friends.

Public visitation took place from Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home, Lewisporte on Saturday, December 6, 2014 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. The funeral service will take place from The Salvation Army Citadel, Lewisporte, NL on Sunday, December 7, 2014 at 2 PM. The interment followed from the old community cemetery, Embree, NL.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Embree Cemetery Fund was gratefully accepted.
