Passed away on Sunday, December 16, 2018 at the Central NL Regional Health Care Centre, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL, Mrs. Hazel Layden, aged 68 years.

She is predeceased by her parents, James & Loretta Flight; half-brothers, Zebede, Alphie.

Left to mourn her passing with fond and loving memories are her husband, James; step-children, Cory (Jamie), Tonya (Steve), Todd; grandson, Sheldon; sisters, Joan (Tom) Moulton, Fronie (Wilson) Nippard; brothers, Terry (Mary) Flight, Eugene (Genny) Flight, Randy (Patrica) Flight, Christopher (Tammy) Flight, Graham (Shirley) Flight; as well as a large circle of family and friends.

The public visitation will took from Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home, Lewisporte, NL, on Monday, December 17, 2018 from 7-9 PM and Tuesday, December 18, 2018 from 2-4 & 7-9PM.

The funeral service took place from The Salvation Army Church, Lewisporte, NL on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at 2 PM. The interment followed at the Community Cemetery, Embree, NL.

As expressions of sympathy, donations in her memory were made to The Embree Community Cemetery Fund, Embree, NL.
