Passed away on Thursday,  March 31, 2022 at Lakeside Home, Gander, NL, Mr. Harold Blackwood, aged 86 years.

Harold spent most of his career with the department of Fisheries and Oceans as a River Guardian.  Harold loved the outdoors and spent most of his waking hours in the woods cutting fire wood or out puttering around his "Store".
He is predeceased by his parents, Pearce and Ida Blackwood; his wife, Maisie, his second wife, May; sisters, Mary (Lee), Fanny (Baxter); brothers, Eleazar (Ruby), Robbie (Edna); grandson, Dion.

Left with fond and loving memories daughter, Pauline (Eugene); step-daughter, Linda (Darren);step-son, Shawn (Rhonda); grandsons wife, Kayla; grandchildren, Dwayne (Jeffrey), & Denise; step-grandchildren, Sarah, Morgan, & Hannah; great-granddaughter, Elenora; brother, Eugene (Melvina).

Public visitation will take place from The Salvation Army Church, Carmanville, NL on Sunday April 3, 2022 from 3-7 PM.

The funeral service will take place at The Salvation Army Church, Carmanville, NL on Monday, April 4,2022 at 2 PM. The interment will follow at the Salvation Army Cemetery, Carmanville, NL.
