Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his wife, Winnie; children, Debby (Merv), Michelle (Jason), Lisa (Steve), Lori (Lloyd), Peter (Paula); grandchildren, Jessica (Nic), Matthew, Lorisa (Jordan), Britney, Kali (Matthew), Jacob (Nikita), Emma, Felisha, Lucas, Jaxon; great-grandchildren, Paulius, Erika, Elena, Mila, Clara, Martin; sister, Grace Tetford; sister-in-laws, Edna Baker, Ivy Snow (Bill); brother-in-laws, Stanley Humphries, Don Leyte and a large circle of other relatives and friends.
Harold lived his life to the fullest and was the rock of our family. Retirement was never a word in his vocabulary. He loved to work and stay busy and that's what he did until his health changed that for him. Another passion of his was travelling all over NL and across Canada with Mom by his side. They had many a great adventure doing this with their buddies Olive and Roy Leyte. At the drop of a hat another adventure was planned, bags packed and off they went.
The visitation will take place from Bethel Pentecostal Church, Laurenceton on Monday, October 25, from 2-4pm and 7-9pm, while following the Covid-19 government regulations. A friendly reminder to all wanting to attend the Church for the visitation is to have your VaxPass ID ready to be scanned upon arrival. The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, October 26, from the church and will be live streamed at 1pm for family and invited guest.
As expressions of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke foundation or the Diabetic Assoication will be gratefully accepted.
Funeral arrangements entrusted to Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home, 262 Main Street, Lewisporte.
