Pastor Gwendolyn Jeans passed peacefully away on November 10, 2018, at the James Paton Memorial Hospital Gander, NL, aged 96 years.

She was born on May 6, 1922 to Horatius and Florence Hillier in Bishop Falls, NL.

She is predeceased by her husband, Pastor Millard Jeans; parents, Horatius and Florence Hillier; siblings, Harold (Beatrice) Hillier, Evelyn (Leander) Noble, Gladys Beck, Cyril Hillier.

She was a loving mother to Dexter (Marilyn), Dale (Tom), Derek (Christine); grandmother to, Glenda (Danny), Valerie (Dennis), Cynthia (Floyd), Keith (Karla), Sherry-Lynn (Robin), Kenny (Christa), Krista (Trevor), Kendra (Anthony); 17 great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Marion Jeans, Bard Hillier, Grace Langdon, Rose Peyton; as well as a large circle of other family and friends.

The public visitation took place from Beacon Pentecostal Tabernacle, Birchy Bay, NL on Monday, November 12, 2018 from 7-9 PM.

The funeral service took place from Beacon Pentecostal Tabernacle, Birchy Bay, NL on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at 2 PM.

As expressions of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to The Palliative Care Unit at James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander, NL.
