Passed away on Tuesday, October 6, 2020 at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital, St. John's, NL, Mr. Albert Gordon John Brown, aged 75 years.

He is predeceased by his parents, Jacob and Ella May Brown; siblings, Lloyd, Melvin, Doris, Earl, Ann (George Decker); father-in-law, Lloyd White;  sisters-in-law, May Brown, and Priscilla Brown; brother-in-law, Dave Curlew. Left to mourn his passing with fond and loving memories are his wife, Neva; children, Bradley (Gillian) and Kayla (Adam McCarthy); pop's girls, Sarah, Katherine and Lucy; mother-in-law, Emma White; siblings, Eric, George (Margaret), Owen (Anne), Sterling (Barbara), Eileen (Corb Newman), Julie (Vince Gallahue), Monnie (Max Whiteway), Diane Curlew; brothers-in-law, Kevin White, Brian (Marian) White, Ron (Sue) White, Garry White; sister-in-law, Marilyn (Gary Jefferies); as well as a large circle of extended family and dear friends.

As per Gordon's request, cremation is to take place.  There was a public visitation from Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home, 262 Main Street, Lewisporte, NL on Sunday, October 11, 2020 from 2:30-4:00 PM in keeping with the COVID-19 government regulations.

The funeral service took place from St. Paul's Anglican Church, Lewisporte, NL on Monday, October 12, 2020 at 11 AM for invited guests only. The interment followed at St. Paul's Anglican Church Cemetery, Lewisporte, NL.

As expressions of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, donations in his memory was made to The Janeway Children's Hospital or the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Center.
