Passed away on Tuesday, March 8, 2011 at the James Paton Memorial Hospital in Gander, Goldie Beatrice Fancey, age 75 years of Aspen Cove. She was predeceased by her; husband, Douglas; 3 children; parents, Jasper and Anastasia Cave and sisters. Left to mourn her passing are her sons, Eldred (Catherine), David (Georgina), James (Linda); daughters, Gloria (Joe Hodder), Leah (Howard Hodder), Velma Barnes (Calvin), Julia (Brian Pennell); 15 grandchildren; 19 great- grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; 3 nieces, Rosie Cave, Betty Hart, Phyllis Cave and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Reverend H. R. Templeman conducted Funeral Services from the United Church in Aspen Cove on Friday, March 11, 2011. Interment was at the united Church Cemetery. Pallbearers were granddaughter, Loretta Hodder; grandsons, Christopher Fancey and Corey Fancey; sons, David Fancey and James Fancey; homecare workers, Denise Wheaton and Tammy Ellsworth.
