It is with great sadness that the family of the late Gladys Torraville announces her passing at James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander, NL, on May 13, 2022 age 84 years. Gladys was born in Victoria Cove on January 25, 1938 to Harold and Ethel Brinson.
Gladys leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her 6 children Harry (Diana), David (Phyllis), Bernice (Eli), Wallace (Theresa), Ross and Derek (Mandy); 13 grandchildren, Tanya (Leonard), Colin (Leah), Jared (Jenn), Jordon (Kayla), Rosemary (Brandon), Rebecca (Daniel), Marcus (Megan), Luke (Leandra), Cole, Sammy-Jo (Brady), Bobbie-Lea (Andrew), Riley, Nora & 4 step grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and 2 on the way; siblings, Sybil (Don), Doreen. As well as many nieces, nephews, relatives, friends, and her Golden Years Estate family.
Gladys is predeceased by her husband, Henry Torraville; her parents Harold and Ethel Brinson; father and mother-in-law, Charlie and Nora Torraville; brother Basil and sister Joan; brothers-in-laws Rick, Roy, Wilson and sister-in-law Phyllis.
Gladys was a devoted wife and mother. She loved to serve the Lord through her commitment to the Pentecostal Church in Wing's Point and by visiting people in the hospital and the senior homes.
She was always a positive person who loved to laugh, even if it was at herself. She was kind and loving, an encourager to others who always put everyone above herself. Her favorite pastimes were reading her Bible, praying, visiting, knitting, and quilting.

Public visitation will take place at the Anglican Church, Wing's Point, NL on Sunday May 15, 2022 from 3-5PM and 7-9PM.
Funeral service will take place at the Anglican Church, Wing's Point, NL on Monday May 16, 2022 at 10AM. The interment will follow at the Wing's Point Pentecostal cemetery. Masks can be worn at your discretion.
As expressions of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, donations to the Pentecostal Church building fund, Wing's Point will be gratefully accepted.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home, 262 Main Street, Lewisporte, NL.
