Passed away at the Lewisporte Health Center, Lewisporte, NL on Friday, February 17, 2017, Mrs. Gladys Hilda Rideout, age 86 years.

She is predeceased by her husband, Frederick; parents, Steven and Lucy Ball; son, Ivan; brothers, Levi (Vera) Ball, Sam (Winnie) Ball; sisters, Violet (Reg Wellon), Millie (Max Fudge), Bessie (Harry Hynes), Emily and Lucy. Left to mourn her passing with fond and loving memories are her son, Wallace (Nancy); daughter, Elaine (Dexter Potter); daughter-in-law, Norma Rideout; grandchildren, Carolyn (Chad), Stephen (Angela), Julie (Stephen), Cathy (Sherman), Chrissy (Lindy), Jessica (Shane); great-grandchildren, Haley, Joshua, Emily, Sophie, Justin, Lilly, Colby and Chloe; special niece, Jean Janes and a large circle of other relatives and friends.

Public visitation took place from Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home, 262 Main Street, Lewisporte on Saturday, February 18, 2017 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. The funeral service took place from Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home on Sunday, February 19, 2017 at 2 PM. The interment followed at The Salvation Army Cemetery, Campbellton, NL.

As expressions of sympathy, donations in her memory were made to The Salvation Army Cemetery Fund, Campbellton, NL.
