It is with sadness that the families of the late Gilbert Locke announce his passing at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL, aged 87 years.

Gilbert is predeceased by his parents, Robert and Pearl Locke; sisters, Rose, Ruth, & Florence.

Gilbert leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife, Vera; children, Elizabeth King, Robert Locke, & Stephen (Laurie) Locke; grandchildren, Eilish King, Dylan Locke, & Katherine Locke; siblings, Mae (Gerald), Rita, & Hardy; as well as a large circle of other relatives & friends.

The visitation will take place Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at 2-4 pm & 7-9 pm from Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home, 262 Main Street, Lewisporte, NL.

The funeral service will take place Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at 2 pm from St. Matthews United Church, Lewisporte, NL . The interment will follow at the United Church Cemetery, Lewisporte, NL.

As expressions of sympathy donations in his memory may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
