It is with sadness that the families of the late George S. Wells announce his passing at the James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander, NL age 75 years.
George leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife of 49 years, Leona; children, Kimberly (Bryan), Keon (Arlene), Kevin (Tina), Kendra (Bill), Krista (Peter); grandchildren, Kayla (Devin), Jessica (Rowan), Brandon, Nicholas, Morgan, Keonna, Kristopher, Joshua, Kole, Kaden, Noah; great-grandchildren, Jaxx, Madison, & Taylor; brothers, Charles (Judy), & James (Sharon) ; sisters, Marie (Bert) Squires, Murial (Samuel) Quinlan, & Melita (Lorne) Boyd; brothers-in-law, Alonzo (Audrey) Baker, & Clarence Hill; sister-in-law, Joan Lewis; a number of step-sisters, & step-brothers; as well as a large number of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
George is predeceased by his infant son, granddaughter, Hope; parents, Ward & Hannah Wells; step-mother, Dorothy; brother, Harvey; sister, Caroline;nephew, Glen; In-laws Leonard & Nina Baker; sister-in-law, Lovelett Hill
The public visitation took place Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at 2-4 pm & 7-9 pm from Bethel Pentecostal Church, Little Burnt Bay, NL.
The funeral service took place Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at 2 pm from Bethel Pentecostal Church, Little Burnt Bay, NL. The interment followed at the Pentecostal Cemetery, Little Burnt Bay, NL.
As expressions of sympathy donations in his memory were made to the Bethel Pentecostal Church Building Fund.
