It is with Great Sadness we announce the passing of our beloved Husband, Father, Granddad and Great Granddad. George Hillier on July 21, 2026 at age 89.

Predeceased by ten Siblings, Mother Martha and Father Clarence.

Born in Lamaline presently residing in Lewisporte Newfoundland with his wife of 63 years Ethel n.Porter Hillier.

Also left to mourn with fond and loving memories are Daughter Wanda(Derek), Grandsons Nicholas(Kayle), and Matthew. Son Wayne (Susan), Grandson Zachary(Jess), Great Granddaughters, Hannah and Madison, Granddaughter Alicia(Andrew), one brother Maxwell( June), large circle of relatives and friends.

George's family will be accepting visitations on Saturday July 25th from 2pm- 4 pm and 7pm -9pm at Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will take place at St. Paul's Anglican Church Lewisporte Sunday July 26th at 2 pm.

As expressions of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, donations to the St. Paul's Anglican Church would be gratefully accepted.
