Passed away on Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at the James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander, NL, Mr. George Thomas Gavin, age 95 years.

He was predeceased by his parents, Edward and Rachael Gavin; wife, Margaret; daughter, Janette;  siblings, Norman, Ealvie, George, Beatrice, Stella, Marietta and Mildred.  Left to mourn his passing with fond and loving memories are his children, David, Judith, Richard and a large number of grandchildren; great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.  Also leaving to mourn his passing are his brothers, Harold (Sandra) and Frank (Ealvie);  sister-in-law, Maisie and a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Public visitation will take place from Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home, 262 Main Street, Lewisporte, NL on Wednesday, April 24 ^th from 2-4 & 7-9 PM.  The Funeral Service will take place from St. Paul's Anglican Church, Lewisporte on Thursday, April 25 ^th at 1 PM. The interment will take place at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, St. John's on Friday, April 26 ^th at 2 PM.
