Passed away on Thursday, September 24, 2026 at the James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander, NL, Mr. Gary Herbert Lacey, age 65 years.

He was predeceased by his son, Ian; father, Frank; brother-in-law, Dave Courtney; parents-in-law, Rena and Charles Stuckless; step-father, Stanley Hillier.

Left to mourn his passing with fond and loving memories are his wife, Nancy; daughter, Cassandra (Siddhanth); mother, Marjorie Hillier; siblings, Ray, Jeff (Gloria), Harold (Linda), Dave (Trudy), Bob (Shawnna), Pauline (Carl Herring), Maxine Kelly, Audra (Derek Layte), Linda (Munir Mughel); siblings-in-law, Harry (Dianne) Stuckless, Linda Courtney, Irene Turtle and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Public visitation will take place from Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home, 262 Main Street, Lewisporte, NL on Monday, September 28th from 7-9 PM. A Private Memorial Service for Family and close fiends will take place later.

As expressions of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, donations to a Charity of One’s choice will be gratefully accepted.
