Passed away on Monday, March 16, 2020 at the James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander, NL, Mr. Garfield Kinden, aged 88 years.

He was predeceased by his first wife, Dorothy Sheppard; second wife, Emma Forward; parents, Wesley and Blanche Kinden and brother, Bert Kinden.

Left to mourn his passing with fond and loving memories are his children, Sheila (Clyde Nippard), Larry (Allison), Boyce, Valerie (Byron Collins) and Randy; step-children, Josephine (Harry Jenkins), Gary (Christine) Forward, Sandra (Con) Finlay, Trudy (Curtis); 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; siblings, Albert, Baxter (Lila), Juanita, Melvin (Marilyn), Eric (Joan), Doyle (Linda); special caregiver, Krista Butler; Masonic and Orange Lodge Family and a large circle of other relatives and friends.

In light of the current coronavirus pandemic, there will be no public visitation or funeral service. All services will remain private for immediate family only.

A live stream of the funeral service will held on the "Lewisporte Pastoral Charge of The United Church of Canada" facebook page for those who are away and unable to attend the service due to the coronavirus pandemic.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Orange Lodge will be gratefully accepted.
