It is with sadness that the family of the late Frank Oake announce his passing at Bonne Bay Health Centre, Norris Point, NL on February 27th 2019, at the age of 80 years.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his loving partner Alice Laing; sons, Gary (Ester) of Manitoba, Dennis (Heather) of Nova Scotia, Robert of Saskatchewan, Danny of Nova Scotia, Paul (Nic) of Ontario, Cory (Barbara) of Saskatchewan, and Christopher (Lyra) of Saskatchewan; daughters, Darlene of Alberta, Brenda (Roger) of Ontario, Debbie (Bill) of Ontario, Paula (Allan) of Ontario, Stephanie (Rod) of Newfoundland, Jennifer of Newfoundland, Natasha of Alberta, Samantha (Lance) of Alberta; brother, Rybert (Bev) of Lewisporte; sisters, Geraldine (Alonzo) Budden of Victoria Cove, Margie (Ross) Gillingham of Lewisporte, Mona (Bazil) Gillingham of Victoria Cove, and Vera (Charlie) Torraville of Rogers Cove; 29 grandchildren, 17 great- grandchildren and a large number of extended family and friends.

Frank was predeceased by his parents, Harvey and Rosalie(Porter); 1st wife, Francis (Elliott); 2nd wife, Flora (Francis); infant daughter; brothers, Cyril, Paul and Junior; sisters, Stella White and Kathleen Stuckless, and grandson, Nicholas Lafleur.

Celebration of Life will be held at the Anglican Church Hall, Lewisporte, NL on Monday, March 4th, 2019 from 3PM -5PM.

In lieu of flowers, as expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to charity of choice.
