Mrs. Frances Powell passed peacefully away in the presence of her daughters on Thursday, July 6, 2017, aged 92. Frances' greatest joy in life was her family.  She lived her life by the three "F's", Family, Faith and Forgiveness.

She is predeceased by her husband, Hedley; parents, Herbert and Lucy Warren; brothers, Heber and Harvey Warren, and sister-in-law Norma (Bishop) Warren.

Left to mourn her passing with fond and loving memories are her daughters, Yvonne (John) Sutherland, Carolyn Powell (Jack Elliott); grandson, Ian; sister-in-law, Barbara Warren; goddaughter, Sheila Budgell; cousins Milligan (Mildred) and Harold (Marion Legge) Batt; and a large circle of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

The family wish to extend their sincere thanks to the staff of the North Haven Manor, Dr. Azawi and her caregivers Marylou Edwards and Sheila Froude for their generous spirit and care during the last stages of her life.

Public visitation will take place from the Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home, 262 Main Street , Lewisporte on Friday, July 7, 2017 from 7-9PM .

The funeral service will take place from the Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home on Saturday, July 8, 2017 at 2PM .
