It is with a profound sense of loss and gratitude for a life well-lived that we announce that our beloved Mother, Grandmother and Granny; Flossie Pardy, peacefully passed away at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital, St. John's, on Tuesday, May 31, while holding hands with her cherished daughter Betty.  Flossie, the loving wife of the late Raymond Pardy (December 23, 2012), was born on September 1, 1927, to the late Joseph and Mary Ann Snow. She is also predeceased by her brothers and sisters; Nellie (Samuel) Nicholas, Thomas (Ella), Richard (Barbara), Pearce (Gertrude), Althea (Allan) Kaiser, Julia (Jack) Stuckless, Clement (Jessie) and Joan Williams.

Flossie was a loving wife, mother, mother-in-law, nan, granny, aunt and friend. Leaving to mourn her loss are her cherished daughter Betty and devoted son-in-law Clifford Brett with whom she resided; chosen son Conrad and dear daughter-in-law Cindy; Nan was dearly loved by her most precious granddaughters Karen and Lori, and special grandson-in-law Neal Thorne (Lori), and by Granny's Little Darling, Kate Thorne, who shared a very special bond with her Granny.  Also survived by her sister Janette (Cyril) Peckford, sister-in-law Emeline Budden, brothers-in-law Calvin Williams and Ronald Pardy.

Flossie loved spending time with her family and found great joy in her kitchen creating delicious baked goods to share with others. A woman of deep faith,  Flossie lived her religion through the kindness, good deeds, generosity and love she shared with her family, friends, church and community.

Visitation will take place at Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home, 262 Main Street, Lewisporte on Thursday, June 2, 2022 from 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm  The family requests that all visitors please wear a mask.

A Celebration of Life service will take place on Friday, June 3, 2022 at 11:00 am at St. Matthew's United Church, 120 Main Street, Lewisporte. The family requests that all attendees please wear a mask.

A private internment for immediate family to follow at St. Matthew's United Church Cemetery, Lewisporte.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Flossie's memory, may be made to St. Matthew's United Church Cemetery Fund, Lewisporte or The Interfaith Goodwill/Foodbank, Lewisporte
