Passed peacefully away on July 23, 2022 at James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander, Mrs. Flora Peckford of Clarkes Head, Gander Bay, age 96 years.

Predeceased by her husband Wilbur G. Peckford (Jan. 2008), granddaughter Tammy Hayes (Aug. 1999), parents Israel Fancey (1981) and Bethia (nee Snow) Fancey (1985).

Leaving to mourn with cherished memories are her nine children: Yetta (Arthur Vivian), Annie (William Harbin), Evelyn (Maisie), David (Karen), Calvin (Christine), Clifford (Rosie), Ivy Francis, Verna, and Renee; grandchildren: David, Norman, Michael (Tanya), Glenn (Rachelle), Leeann (Anthony), Wanda (Ivan), Annabelle, Koni (Chris), Judie (Curtis), Jennifer (Nave), Kim (Darren), Dwight (Cathy), Keith (Robin), Chris (Julia), Curtis, Trevor (Cathy), Shannon (Dan), Alicia (Serg), Veronica (Tyler), Casey (Ryan), and Melissa (Brady); several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; many neices, nephews, in-laws and friends.

The family will be receiving visitors at Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Wings Point on Tuesday, July 26 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm.

The Funeral Service will take place from the church on Wednesday, July 27th at 2:00 pm, with Rev. Stella Mills officiating. The interment will follow at the Clarkes Head Anglican Cemetery.
The family strongly encourage all visitors to please wear a mask during the visitation and service.
