Passed away peacefully at home with her daughter by her side, on Monday, April 11, 2022, Evelyn Simmons, of Lewisporte, age 96 years.

Predeceased by her husband, Jack; parents, Arch and Minnie Noble; brother, Baby Bruce and Harry. Left to mourn with precious memories are her daughter, Marion; grandson, Kenny (Annette); and her most treasured great- grandchildren, Molly and Aidan; Sister- in-law, Marion Noble; nieces, nephews and many close friends.

Evelyn's life was one of caring and endless love for her family and her happiest moments were when they were with her. Many lasting memories will live on of her busy with her crochet hooks, working on one project after another and, of course, her sharp wit and sense of humour.

As per Evelyn's wishes, cremation has taken place. Public visitation will take place from Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home, 262 Main Street, Lewisporte, NL on Friday, April 15, 2022 from 7-9 PM.

The funeral service will take place at St. Matthew's United Church, Lewisporte, NL on Saturday, April 16, 2022 at 2 PM.  The Family are requesting that masks and NLVaxPass be required in order to enter facilities.

As expressions of sympathy, flowers graciously accepted or donations to  St. Matthew's United Church Cemetery Fund.
