Passed away on Sunday, April 22, 2018 at the James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander, NL, Mr. Evelyn Brett Edwards, age 85 years.

He was predeceased by his parents, James and Matilda Edwards;  siblings, Gordon, Fred (Louise), Aubrey, Elizabeth Gardner, Phyllis (Wilson Wells);  brothers-in-law, Len Dearing and Arch Moore.  Left to mourn his passing with fond and loving memories are his wife, Elizabeth;  children, Marilyn (Melvin Jenkins), David (Dalphine), Kevin (Doreen), Pearl (Keith MacKinnon), Dale (Cynthia);  grandchildren, Trina, Tanya, Trevor, Tyson, Colin, Penny, Vicki, Robyn, Kimberly, Angela;  great-grandchildren, Thomas, Olivia, Emily, Claire, Isaac, Chelsea, Carter, Charlie, Kahlan, Brayden, Donovan and Andrew;  sisters, Mabel Dearing and Margaret Moore;  sister-in-law, Sadie Edwards;  brother-in-law, Reginald Gardner and a large circle of other relatives and friends.

Public visitation will take place from Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home, 262 Main Street, Lewisporte on Tuesday, April 24 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM.  A private funeral service for Family and close friends will take place from Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 25 at 2 PM.  Interment will follow from the United Church Cemetery.

As expressions of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, donations to the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Center will be gratefully accepted.
