Passed away on Monday, August 21, 2017 at the James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander, Mr. Eugene Watkins, age 77 years, of Lewisporte, NL.

He is predeceased by his first wife, Jean; parents, Samuel and Dorcas;  brothers, Calvin, Cyril, Wilfred, Raymond, Taylor and Roland;  sisters, Olive, Bessie, Audrey and Gwendlyn.  Left to mourn his passing with fond and loving memories are his wife, Betty;  sons, Grayson (Roslynn), Paul (Cindy);  grandchildren, Edward, Jennifer, Shelly, Daniel, Kaitlyn, Danielle, Ashley, Jordan;  great-grandchildren, Daniela, Paolo, Madison, Matthew, Tanya, William, Dorothy, Melanie, Evelyne, Nathaniel and Carter;  brother, Lloyd;  sisters, Ruby, Eva, Leona and a large circle of other relatives and friends.

Public visitation will take place from Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home, 262 Main Street, Lewisporte on Tuesday, August 22 ^nd from 7-9 PM and Wednesday, August 23rd from 2-4 & 7-9 PM.  The Funeral Service will take place from the Pentecostal Church, Lewisporte on Thursday, August 24 ^th at 2 PM.  The interment will follow from the Pentecostal Church Cemetery.
