It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Emma Neva (Elms)White, age 92 years, on January 30, 2023 at North Haven Manor surrounded by members of her loving family.

Emma was born in Bay L'Argent to Edith (West) and William Elms. She was predeceased by her husband of 65 years, Lloyd; son-in-law, Gordon Brown;  brothers, Albert (Joyce), Atheling (Alma), Claude and step-father, Martin Hickey.

Left to mourn her passing and to celebrate her life are her children, Neva, Kevin, Brian (Marian), Ron (Sue), Marilyn (Gary Jefferies) and Garry; grandchildren, Brad (Gillian), Kayla (Adam), Kenneth (Anna), Ryan (Trish), Jeremy (Jackie), Rebecca, Jason (Jenn), John, Justin (Jenny) and Neil;  15 great-grandchildren;  sisters-in-law, Vera Kearley,  Anne Peckford and a large circle of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Visitation for Family and close friends will take place from Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home, 262 Main Street, Lewisporte on Tuesday, January 31 ^st from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. The Funeral Service for Family and close friends will take place from the Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 1 ^st at 2 PM.  Interment will follow from the Salvation Army Cemetery, Lewisporte.

The Family would like to thank the staff of North Haven Manor for their compassion and care during her stay.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Salvation Army Cemetery Fund will be gratefully accepted.
