Passed away on Thursday, September 9, 2021 at Lakeside Homes, Gander, Mrs. Emily Hancott, aged 92 years.

She was predeceased by her husband, Ambrose; parents,  Lionel & Lydia Wheaton; children, Evelyn, Joan; sister, Meta Gillingham and son-in-law, Calvin Mugford.

Left to mourn her passing with fond and loving memories are her children, Hardy, Randy (Sandra), Jennifer (Cluney Pearce), Sue-Ann (Job Pritchett); grandchildren, Tammy, Tracey (Darren), Johnnie (Christine), Dionne, Cora (Joel), Megan, Amy (Jonathan), Christopher (Priscilla), Andrew (Sarah), Nolan, Brent, Matthew (Sara), Clinte (Sherry); great- grandchildren, Alisha, Kalan, Jenaya, Gavin,  Tucker, Alyssa, Austin, Harlan, Jenna, Chelsea, Joanie, Blake, Cameron; great- great grandchild, Jeydon; son-in-law, Jim  and a large circle of family and friends. The family wish to acknowledge 2 individuals who they consider Emily's guardian angels. These individuals sat by her bedside during times when she was very ill, Bonnie Walsh and Bonnie Bauld.

The public visitation will take place from United Church, Frederickton, on Saturday, September 11th from 1-4 PM & 6-8 PM following COVID government regulations. The Funeral Service will take place from the United Church, Frederickton on Sunday, September 12th at 3 PM.  Anyone wishing to attend the funeral are asked to call Jennifer at 534-2017 or 534-6505. The interment will take place at the United Cemetery, Frederickton.

As expressions of sympathy, flowers accepted or donations in her memory may be made to the United Church, Frederickton.
