Passed peacefully away with her family by her side, Elvina Grace Stryde, aged 86 years.

Leaving to mourn her loss, her children: Major Marilyn (Sean) Furey, James (Doreen), Peter, and Susan Stryde; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; and sisters: Juanita Blackmore and Judi MacPhee.  As well she leaves a large number of family and friends to grieve her loss.

She is predeceased by her husband, Harry; and her son, Robert.

Elvina was a faithful member of The Salvation Army Lewisporte Corps and will be remember for her service and love of God.

Visitation will take place on Wednesday, February 28, 2024 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm at Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home, 262 Main Street, Lewisporte, NL.

The Service of Celebration for her life will take place on Thursday, February 29, 2024 at 11:00 am at The Salvation Army, Lewisporte, NL, with Major Darlene Burt officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Salvation Army Lewisporte Corps in her memory.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home, 262 Main Street, Lewisporte, NL.
