We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Elva PAULINE Fudge, a loving and cherished daughter, sister, aunt and friend. Pauline died peacefully surrounded by the love of her family on December 24th at 4:15pm in Lunenburg, NS
Pauline is the daughter of the late Oberton Fudge and Joan (Clarke) Fudge born January 12th 1956 in Stanhope NL.
Siblings Josephine (Wade) Lewis, Brian (Shelia) Fudge, Kathleen (Dave Eddington) Schmidt, Jacqueline (Richard) Redmond, Geraldine (Richard Howard) Fudge.
Pauline finished High School, attended Vocational School and continued on to Nursing School in St. John's NL. She graduated and started her career at North Haven Manor in Lewisporte NL where she continued to work for over 34 years. Pauline gave as she lived without question to others.
She was a second Mother to all her Nieces and Nephews.
She was an avid reader, and when not working enjoyed travelling, rug hooking, car rides, camping with friends and socializing with family. She was a proud supporter of the church in her community.
She was known for her wit and contagious laughter. Known to enjoy causing mischief with her sisters and friends.
Our lives have been forever enriched by her love, kindness and care for others.
We extend a heartfelt Thank You to all nurses and doctors on the medical ward at Fishermen's Memorial Hospital in Lunenburg NS.
Please give kindly in Pauline's name to any Care Facility of your choice.
Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held from Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home, 262 Main Street, Lewisporte on Monday, July 18th at 2 PM. Family and friends are invited to gather at the Funeral Home at 1 PM.
The family extends a special thank you to all of the caregivers who became part of Pauline's everyday life. Your patience and dedication truly made a difference!
