It is with sadness that the families of the late Ella Blanche Porter announce her passing at the North Haven Manor, Lewisporte, NL aged 87 years.
Ella is predeceased by her husband, Roy; son, Junior; parents Levi & Thursa Canning; siblings, Lucy Russell, & Hadley Canning.
Ella leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her daughter, Irene (Hubert)Baker; daughter-in-law, Philomena Porter; grandchildren, Kelly (Dan Palmer) Porter, Norman (Crystal) Porter; great-grandchildren, Michael & Michaela Porter; siblings, Cecil Canning, Carrie Freake, Rachel (Sidney) Brace, Clarence (Sheila) Canning, Dulcie (Layton) Godfrey, Eileen (Peter) Quinlan; brother-in-law, Lester Russell; sister-in-law Helen Canning.
The public visitation took place Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at 2-4 pm & 7-9 pm from Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home.
The funeral service took place Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at 2 pm from The Salvation Army Citadel, Lewisporte, NL with Majors Josh & Pauline Randell officiating.
As expressions of sympathy donations in her memory were made to the Kidney Foundation.
Funeral arrangements entrusted to Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home , Lewisporte, NL.
