It is with sadness that the families of the late Ella "Joan" Hannem announce her passing at the James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander, NL aged 80 years.

She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her daughters, Sandra (Gerald) Brenton, Doreen (Dave) Abbott; sons, Garry, George (Angela), & Tony; grandchildren, Kelly, Lawrence, Delta, April (Perry), Neil, Sherri, Nicholas, Jordan, & Jennifer; great-grandchildren, Beverly, P.J., Samantha, Christiano, Alexander, & Mitchell; sisters, Gladys, Shirley (George), Betty, Josephine (Bob), Pearl; brothers, Les (Pat), Bryce (Lilly); sister-in-law, Pat, brother-in-law, Gerald (Joyce); as well as several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Joan is predeceased by her husband, Gordon; parents, Ralph & Blanche Martin, infant son, Willie; sister, Jean; step-father, Lewis Moyles.

The visitation took place Thursday, January 8, 2015 at 7-9 pm, Friday, January 9. 2014 at 2-4 pm & 7-9 pm from Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home, 262 Main Street, Lewisporte, NL.

The funeral service took place Saturday, January 10, 2015 at 2 pm from St. Paul's Anglican Church, Lewisporte, NL. The internment followed at the Anglican Cemetery, Lewisporte, NL.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the St. Paul's Anglican Church Cemetery Fund.
