Passed away on Friday, October 31, 2025 at DR. Hugh Twomey Center, Botwood, NL Mrs. Elizabeth Rideout, age 83 years.

She was predeceased by her husband, Winston Rideout; parents, Garland and Netta Compton; sister, Joyce Canning; brother, Wallace Compton.

Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are her sons, Barry (Karen), Dale (Paula), Todd; sisters, Judy (Howard) Scott, Ruby (Lloyd) Sheppard; brother, Ewen Compton; grandchildren, Stefan Rideout (Ashley Park), Alecia Rideout (Tim Buchanan) and a large circle of family and friends.

Public Visitation will take place from Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home, 262 Main Street, Lewisporte, NL on Sunday November 2nd from 2-4 PM.

The Funeral Service will take place from the Philadelphia Pentecostal Tabernacle, Lewisporte, NL on Monday, November 3rd at 1 PM. Interment to follow from the Philadelphia Pentecostal Cemetery, Lewisporte, NL.

As expression of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, donations to DR. Hugh Twomey Center will be gratefully accepted.
