It is with sadness that the families of the late Elizabeth Clarke announce her passing at the North Haven Manor, Lewisporte, NL on Monday, January 9, 2023, aged 81 years.

Elizabeth was born December 23, 1941 to James and Bessie Nippard of Mary's Harbour, Labrador.  She moved to Stephenville at a very young age.  In 1978, she married Basil Clarke.  In 1982, they moved to Ontario where they worked until they retired in 2003.

Elizabeth was predeceased by her husband, Basil; parents, James and Bessie Nippard; siblings, May, Laura, Derek and Bruce; foster brother, Max. Left to mourn her passing with fond and loving memories are her daughter Ruth (Ivan) Day; step-daughters, Elaine Snow, Marilyn (Dana) McIntryre, Cynthia (Frank) Brown and Joan Jackman; grandsons, Lionel (Jocelyn) and Theo (Shanna) (Nans angels), Devin (Karla), Ryan (Nans boys); siblings, Herman, Jim (Gladys), Baxter (Val), Dave (Clarrisa), Ruby Canning, Theresa Eveleigh, Greta (Calvin) Watkins, Judy (Boyde)Walsh; great-grandchildren;  step-grandchildren; step-great-grandchildren; and a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation for Family will take place at the Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home, Lewisporte, NL on Wednesday, January 11 ^th from 6-7 PM with Public visitation to follow from 7-9 PM.

The Funeral Service will be held at the Philadelphia Pentecostal Tabernacle, Lewisporte, NL on Thursday, January 12 ^th at 1PM. The interment will follow from the Philadelphia Pentecostal Cemetery, Lewisporte, NL.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Alzheimer's Society will be gratefully accepted.

The Family would like to thank the management and staff of North Haven Manor for the wonderful care  she received.  A special thank-you to Judy and Theresa for looking after her when they couldn't be home to do so.
