Passed away at the Lewisporte Health Center, Lewisporte, NL, Mrs. Eliza Mildred Bursey, aged 97 years.

She was predeceased by her parents, Suzanna and Charles Bailey; husband, George; daughters, Ruby Rideout and Edna Porter; grandsons, David Coish and Robert Reid; brother, George; sisters, Maria, Rebecca, Harriett, Adelaide, and Rhoda and a special friend Jack Hynes.

Left to mourn her passing are her daughters, Phyllis Coish, Mildred Reid(Delmon); 14 grandchildren, Donna, Della, Pamela, Stephen, Susan, Carol, Mercelle, Nancy, Helen, Mildred, Sharon, Sue, Harry and Dexter; 27 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren and a large number of relatives and friends.

A special thanks to the amazing staff at Lewisporte Central Health, Pleasantview Manor (where Eliza previously resided) for their compassion and care over the past years and to Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home.

Also thanks to Rev. Bruce Vallis and Rev. Owen Holwell for their visitations and support.

Public visitation will take place from Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home, Lewisporte on Tuesday, February 14th from 7-9 PM and Wednesday, February 15th from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. The Funeral Service will take place from St. Paul's Anglican Church, Lewisporte on Thursday, February 16th at 2 PM. Interment will follow from the Anglican Church Cemetery.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to Lupus Newfoundland and Labrador will be gratefully accepted.
