Passed away on Friday, January 2, 2015 at the James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander, NL, Mr. Edward Burry, age 83 years, formally of Boyds Cove. He was predeceased by his parents, Edward and Lucy Burry; brothers, Claude, Llewellyn, Fred and Ambrose; sisters, Phoebe, Ella Mae and Leah.

Left to mourn his passing are his wife, Marina; brother Albert (Louise); brothers-in-law, Don Freake, John Porter, Alec (Phyllis) Porter, Marshall (Doris) Porter and Hubert (Pansy) Porter; sisters-in-law, Mary Burry, Hilda Lewis, Margaret (Harold Manuel) and many nieces and nephews.

Public visitation took place from St. Georges Anglican Church, Boyds Cove on Saturday, January 3rd from 12-2 PM & 7-9 PM. The funeral service will take place from the church on Sunday, January 4th at 2 PM. As expressions of sympathy, donations to St. Georges Anglican Cemetery Fund was gratefully accepted.
