Passed away on Sunday, May 14, 2017 at the Dr. Hugh Twomey Center, Botwood, NL, Mrs. Edna Pearl Pelley, age 85 years.  Edna was born March 20, 1932 to Arthur and Daisy Peckford.  On August 10, 1949, she married Eric Pelley and together they had 6 children.

She was predeceased by her parents, Arthur and Daisy Peckford;  husband, Eric Pelley;  one sister, Gladys Elliott;  brothers, Harold Mercer and Lewis Peckford;  grandson, Donald Mills;  great-granddaughter, Taiesha Drover.

Edna leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her daughters, Pearl (Arch), Marion (Alex), Barb, Joyce(Jason);  sons, Hardy (Lorraine), Wallace (Peggy);  16 grandchildren;  39 great-grandchildren;  12 great-great- grandchildren;  in-laws, Raymond (Shirley), Ronald (Marjorie), Dulcie (Charlie), Winnie and a large circle of other relatives and friends.

Public visitation will take place from the United Church, Port Albert on Tuesday, May 16 ^th starting at 2 PM.  The Funeral Service will take place on Wednesday, May 17 ^th at 2 PM.  Interment will follow from the United Church Cemetery.  As expressions of sympathy, donations to the United Church, Port Albert will be gratefully accepted.
