Passed away on Monday, March 16, 2015 at the James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander, Mr. Edison (Ed) Roy Budgell, aged 85 years.

He is predeceased by his parents, William & Elsie Budgell; sisters, Pearl Budgell, Dorothy Manuel & May Briggs; brother, Mac Budgell; sister-in-law, Marie Budgell; brothers-in-law, Ronald & Pearce Goulding; parents-in-law, Edgar and Eloise Plowman.

Left to mourn his passing with fond and loving memories are his wife, Eunice of 60 years; children, Marie (Richard), Doreen (Guy) & Roy; grandchildren, Stephen (Roxanne), Sherry (Craig), Jonathan, Jessica (Bethany); great-grandchildren, Olivia and Cooper; brothers, Norm (Jean), Fred (Marion); sisters, Madge and Olive; sister-in-law, Lena (Leonard); special nephew, Lorne (Marion); as well as a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives, & friends.

Public visitation took place from Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home, 262 Main Street, Lewisporte on Tuesday, March 17th from 2-4 PM & 7-9 PM. Visitation on Wednesday, March 18th will take place from the Riverside United Church, Norris Arm, NL from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. The funeral service took place from the church on Thursday, March 19th at 2 PM. Interment followed from the Riverside United Church Cemetery, Norris Arm.

As expressions of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, donations to the Riverside United Church Cemetery Fund was gratefully accepted.
