Passed away on Friday, December 21, 2018 at the James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander, NL, Mrs. Dawn Jacobs, aged 79 years.

She is predeceased by her parents, Arthur & Alice Brett; brothers, Stanley Brett, Leonard Brett, Clyde Brett; granddaughter, Caitlyn Jacobs; brothers-in-law, Bruce Reid, Aldo Turrin, Ross Jacobs; sisters-in-law, Margaret Brett, Ina Brett.

Left to mourn her passing with fond and loving memories are her husband, Lorne Jacobs; children, Patricia (Christopher) Walsh, Neil (Heather) Jacobs, Gary (Suzanne) Jacobs, Dean (Tina) Jacobs, Sheldon (Stephanie) Brett; grandchildren & family, Ryan, Ashley, Matthew, Rebecca, Chelsea, Noah, Nathan, Mitchell, Zachary; great-grandchildren, Molly, Penelope, Madeleine, Avery; sisters, Phyllis Turrin, Marina Reid, Betty Brett; brothers-in-law & family, Owen (Joan) Jacobs, Gene (Ruth) Jacobs, as well as a large circle of family and friends.

The public visitation took place from Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home, Lewisporte, NL, on Sunday, December 23, 2018 from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM.

The funeral service took place from St. Paul's Anglican Church, Lewisporte, NL on Monday, December 24, 2018 at 11AM. The interment followed at St. Paul's Anglican Cemetery, Lewisporte, NL.

As expressions of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, donations in her memory was made to The Heart and Stroke Foundation.
