Passed peacefully away surrounded by his loving family on Friday, January 21, 2022 at the James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander, NL, Mr. David Gerald White, age 72 years.

David is predeceased by his parents, Lewis and Cora White; parents-in-law, Frank and Marie Freake.  Left to mourn his passing with fond and loving memories are his devoted wife, Yvonne;  son, Conrad;  daughter, Jill (Paul);  grandchildren, Jordan, Ethan and Gavin;  great-granddaughter, Charlotte;  brothers, Calvin, Gus (Eva), Victor (Marie), Malcolm (Cavelle) and Randy (Lisa); sister, Sharon as well as numerous relatives and friends.

David was born to Lewis and Cora White of Brown's Arm on October 19, 1949.  He was the oldest of six siblings. David worked as a carpenter for over 40 years on many jobs all over the island.

David, who was known to many as "Super" loved the outdoors where he spent time out in boat fishing, trapping for beavers, fox and other animals, salmon fishing in his favourite spot (Giggies Rock) and spending time at the sawmill sawing logs.  Most of all, David loved spending time with his family. He is going to be greatly missed by his wife and family and everyone whose lives he has touched.

In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place.  A Memorial Service will take place at a later date.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Family will be gratefully accepted.
